Psychologist
Natalie Mikic is a licensed psychologist with a Masters in
Counseling Psychology and a member of the Order of psychologists
of Quebec. She has pursued additional training in
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in London, England and is currently
in a post-graduate program in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
at the Canadian Psychoanalytic Institute. She has been working
in the field of psychology for seven years and has worked in
both treatment centers and educational institutions. The process
of psychotherapy involves establishing a relationship which
provides empathy and trust to allow the individual the space
where one can begin to develop greater insights and
understanding regarding the self. The process of change begins
to unfold for the individual through new perceptions, behaviors
and feelings in relation to the self and environment.
