Osteopath
Valerie Namer, Osteopath was first trained as a medicaldoctor specialized in endocrinology in Paris and Lyon, France. In 1995 she moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina where she worked with patients and did clinical research. In 2002 she settled in Montreal and went back to her studies at the AOM and the Centre Ostéopathique du Québec, COQ, and has been practicing as an ostepath in private clinics since 2006. In 2008 she joined the Atwater club providing osteopathic treatments in collaboration with the other health praticioners of the club as well as with the trainers. In 2010 she joined Doctor Adam Gavsie’s team at the Montreal Center for Integrative Medicine, MCIM. Since September 2011 she joined the Harmony Health Center. Along with osteopathy, she also offers nutritionnal coaching. She has also been teaching physiology at Kineconcept® in the sweedish massage program since 2002.
Osteopathy is manual therapy complementary to eastern medicine. It is a global way to assess patients health and enhance the body self healing abilities.
Indications :
Osteopathy addresses all elements of the body including bones, joints, soft tissues, organs, fluids, and the cranial system. It treats infants, children, teenagers, adults and elderly.
